Weekday

Weekday is a recruitment platform focused on hiring engineers who are recommended by other engineers. It aims to reduce the friction in recommending candidates by using a Chrome extension that matches recruiters' open roles with their connections’ profiles, enabling easy recommendations. The platform incentivizes recommenders financially when their referrals get interviewed or hired, operating on a success fee model charging 15% of the annual salary from hiring companies. Weekday currently operates primarily in the US, India, and Canada, targeting software engineering roles and emphasizing a network-driven approach to discover high-caliber candidates beyond traditional credential screening.
