Motion

Motion is a Chrome browser extension designed to help users defend against online distractions and addictions by providing real-time interventions. It offers a countdown timer when visiting distracting sites, options to hide distracting elements like newsfeeds and video recommendations on sites such as Facebook and YouTube, and reminders of time spent on less distracting sites like Gmail. Users can set tasks that display with timers on every tab to maintain focus. The extension prioritizes user privacy by not collecting URLs or content of visited sites. Currently free and planned for release on other browsers soon, Motion aims to offer premium productivity tools for power users in the future.
